Connector is a component commonly used in PCBA processing. Its function is very simple: to build a bridge of communication between blocked or isolated circuits in the circuit, so that the current can flow and the circuit can achieve the intended function. Connectors are indispensable parts in electronic equipment. When you observe the current flow path, you will always find one or more connectors. The form and structure of connectors are ever-changing. With different application objects, frequencies, power and application environments, there are various types of connectors. For example, the connector for lighting on the court is quite different from the connector for hard disk drive and the connector for igniting rockets. However, no matter what kind of connector, it is necessary to ensure that the current flows smoothly, continuously and reliably. In general, the connector is not limited to the current. Today, with the rapid development of optoelectronic technology, the carrier of signal transmission in optical fiber systems is light. Glass and plastic replace the wires in ordinary circuits. In this way, no matter for production or use, it has brought a lot of inconvenience. Take the automobile battery as an example. Assuming that the battery cable is fixed and welded firmly on the battery, the automobile manufacturer will increase the workload, production time and cost for installing the battery. When the battery is damaged and needs to be replaced, the car should also be sent to the maintenance station for desoldering, removing the old one, and then welding the new one. Therefore, more labor costs should be paid. With a connector, you can avoid many troubles. Just buy a new battery from the store, disconnect the connector, remove the old battery, install a new battery, and reconnect the connector. This simple example illustrates the benefits of connectors. It makes the design and production process more convenient and flexible, and reduces the production and maintenance costs.

1. Miniaturization development technology of connector

4. Intelligent connector technology
This technology is mainly used in DC series power connector products. Before power transmission, intelligent signal detection can be carried out to ensure that the positive and negative electrodes are connected and the power supply is started only after the plug is inserted in place. This technology can avoid the adverse consequences of electric arc injury and machine burning caused by conducting contact when the plug is not inserted in place.
